The problem is, a lot of recipes are things my kids won't go near, or that aren't cost effective. Easy is nice, but in these times, food storage friendly or especially budget friendly is key.

Celery Tip
Richard's Grandma showed me that cutting up your celery and putting it in a Mason jar of water in the fridge doubles and can even triple the life of your celery. She adds carrot sticks in with hers, I don't usually do that.
This is great, it totally works! My mom used to do this when we were kids. She would chop a variety of veggies into a plastic bowl with water and place it in the bottom of the fridge so my sisters and I could grab a veggie snack whenever we were hungry. Convenient and healthy. :-)
