The problem is, a lot of recipes are things my kids won't go near, or that aren't cost effective. Easy is nice, but in these times, food storage friendly or especially budget friendly is key.

Cranberry sauce
1 Cup sugar
1 cup water
1 pkg. cranberries (2 cups)
Wash berries put water in a pan
add sugar. bring to a boil stirring often.
add cranberries
return to a boil
reduce heat and boil gently 10 min
cool to room temp before refrigerating.
